Interview FOTD/OOTD
Hello hello hello, so recently I went to my first real interview. By real I mean formal as all the other interviews I've been to haven't been formal they've been taster days or mixers.
As I hadn't been to a formal interview, I hadn't a clue what to wear. I didn't want to go wearing all black as I didn't want to look like I was attending a funeral and I didn't want to wear flats in case I didn't look professional. It came to to wearing what I didn't think I ever would!
Outfit of the interview day
A navy silk top with pelicans on, its elasticated at the bbottom and it is elasticated at the arms which 3/4 length. It also has oval shaped wholes at the shoulders which let my shoulders fall through. Asda - £12
A black waterfall blazer which I love because it goes with everything!. New look - £19.99
A black pencil skirt which I don't really feel comfortable in but I thought it would be perfect for the interview. Friend - free
And to finish off the look I went for black tights and black high heels.
Face of the interview day
I went with a kind of nutral look with a little bit of wake me up foundation by rimmel and MUA press powder. I didnt want to go to heavy with the eyes as i didnt want to look like a panda, so i just went for a thin line of MUA 3in1 eyeliner on the top and bottom and a layer of maybelline rocket mascara. On the cheeks i wanted to stay light so i added a little MUA pink blush. For the lips i wanted very natural so i added a skin tone lipgloss by The Only Way Is Essex.
For hair i just went with straight and a side fringe.
Well i hoped you like this post as im not very familiar with these kids of posts. If you have any questions or comments just bob them into the comments box below.
